Centrifugal separator WS for condensation water
The centrifugal separator utilises the fact that precipitated water in the compressed air is heavy, the compressed air is simply thrown around in a spiral motion and the water droplets are collected at the outer edge and led away.
The WS units remove about 60% of the water, and should be installed before air receivers and possibly dryers.
This is the not to be confused with dehumidifiers, e.g. refrigeration dryers, which remove moisture from compressed air.
Keep in mind that the principle here is dependent on flow, so don't choose a larger WS unit than you need, the units work best just below their max capacity.
