103400 NSP-601, a straight grinding machine in Nakanishi's IMPULSE series
NSK Nakanishi's IMPULSE series includes 4 grinders with built-in air motor of the vane type (vane motors).
The disc motor has good torque and infinitely variable speed via a knob at the rear of the housing, unlike most turbine-driven micro grinders which usually have a fixed speed.
As the vane motor is very small and highly variable, clean air and proper lubrication are essential to ensure reliability and longevity, however, if this is taken care of*, IMPULSE machines are extremely durable and long-lasting for their size.
Very good ergonomics thanks to low vibrations and a swivelling soft hose with 1.5m supply and 1.2m exhaust, after which there is a silencer that reduces the noise level

* For best performance, use Nakanishi's own air preparation unit 450600 AL-H1206 or a high quality filter with filter grade 5 Micron or finer, and a high quality pressurised oil container type mist lubricator, which sprays a fine oil mist into the compressed air
